On May 29th, 2025 I premiered Brave New Tech in the Dolby theater on Times Square during the International Filmmaker Festival of New York.

 

It's since been awarded at the Los Angeles Independent Shorts Festival and the San Francisco International New Concept Film Festival.

​The story: Eli Whitney pitches the cotton gin to Silicon Valley tech bros, promising that this "revolutionary new technology" will level the playing field, small farms will be able to compete with the mega-plantations, and slavery will finally become eliminated. What could possibly go wrong?
